Keeping of Cigars

Hi, I thought I would ask this on here, just incases someone can help. In June I went on Holiday to Cuba and collected a lot of cigars although not much of a smoker. Most of them are in tubes and appear to be fine but some, which are not in tubes, are going hard,I havent' correctly looked after them.

I've just purchased a humidor but is there anything I can do to save the ones that have already started to go bad?

The humidor should help preserve them from getting worse. If they are to far gone nothing will bring them back to original freshness.
I sometimes soak the ends of my old cigars in brandy for a few secs. I then let them dry.
It makes an old cigar taste a little better.

It's not usual to see someone who is not much of a smoker buying a humidor.

I dont smoke anymore.

But when i did, i liked to smoke cigars,

Liked to smoke the bigger ones that the pub sold.

But i really wanted to smoke one of those real big expensive Cuban cigars, i would of paid good money for one also, just to enjoy it, like you do a wine.

But i no longer smoke, Doh ! ..

Sorry, could not answer your question, as soon as i got hold of a cigar i smoked it.
