DW 4000 series pedals

I'm looking for a second double pedal to use with kit number 2 in the practice room. Not looking to spend a bundle. What has your experience been with these in terms of reliability? The single chain doesn't inspire me but at the same time I am not gorilla playing metal for hours at a time. The occasional fill is about it. $180 seems decent price wise if they will hold up.

noooooooooo please do not i absolutly hate this pedal it fell apart after a few mounths of light usage. it was my m8s hes not a metal player never gigged it never heavy it fell apart

The pedal is well made and will hold up for a long time if you take care of it.
Been using mine for over 2 years and their is no sign of wear not even a squeak.
Main and slave can be adjusted to feel exactly the same. Once you get it tweaked it plays smoothly without a hitch.

sorry to hear mrbling, but it sounds like that pedal was defective from birth, your friend just never noticed it.

Don't let the single chain deter you, its durable as hell, if you play it properly.
