TONY IOMMI AUTOBIOGRAPHY - IRON MAN

I am the biggest fan of Ozzy-era Black Sabbath, so I looked forward to reading Tony Iommi's autobiography, Iron Man, as soon as it came out. I'm about halfway through it and, I have to say, it is one of the worst written books I've ever read. An endless stream of short asides, glossed over details and awkward grammar. It's so quickly written, with no depth into any one particular story that it is laughable. It's actually a must read. There is no evidence of an editor and the help of the co-author is a joke. You'll howl at sentences like, "Bill was like: Oh Yeah. And I said: Yes. Then my cat went Wieuhuh" or "the cockroaches crawled across the floor. Kcch Kcch Kcch."

Wow.

ROCK ON!
