Lets See Some METAL Kits!!!

Very cool set and I really dig how you play open. It is rare to see someone play open with right hand hats and ride, with the ride AND hats on the right! I would love to see some video of you playing.

I invite you to join the Open Handed Players group. I don't think we have anyone with your particular open style.

Does it count when you play a little more than half on the right hats??
If it does, I am the second one.

I will make some pics of my current setup soon.

If this is not METAL enough, I have a metal snare drum too. Pleae excuse the refuse surrounding the kit. My drum room is being recarpeted. :)

ramair96ws6, That's such a nice set up you have there. I also play superstars.

also wow! its awesome to know that someone is talented enough to play death metal on a lil jazzy bop kit, thats talent right there :D!

eh, I don't think playing on a small kit makes me any more talented than everyone else here. It's just the set up that works best for how I want to play. :)

well I'll be damned.

Sefalik on PSU. Internet might not be as big a place as I thought, haha.

Guess who?

Heh, yea... I don't think I've ever met the same person on two completely different forums before.

I remember i saw a sweedish death metal band who did a similar setup like this, but he only had like 2 cymbals lol. I'm pretty impressed you can do metal with this sort of setup.

I'm pretty sure Chris Pennie used a 3-piece with Dillinger Escape Plan, at least sometimes. But yea, I need my cymbals. I wouldn't be happy just using two cymbals, at least not with this band. :)

spoon's my username on PDF. at least, I guess that's what he means. a few people call my spoon in real life too...
