Happen to effect the tone, persay i used maple drum sticks whilst playing my 100% maple tour custom would it effect the sound maybe a bit more natural?

only if you use 100% maple heads :D

The wood of the stick will affect the sound, no matter what your drumkit is made of, I don't think it will make it sound more "natural" though

Ah, but what if your sticks with hot pink and endorsed by a girl named Kimmy?

Surely that would affect the tone.

if you use maple sticks on a maple drum on the 2nd Tuesday of the 3rd month in a leap year...It could rip open a hole in the fabric of space/time...

I think if you do alot of shell or rim taps on your toms then the stick material will affect the sound............you'd have to find the sound you like most............I don't necessarily think a maple stick would have the best sounding taps on a maple shell.........but maybe.
