This is one of the coolest Tama drums I've seen:

As much as I hate to say it, guys, I just received it and haven't played it.

I like hammered metal drums. I have a couple of hammered bronze drums and a hammered copper drum. I think the hammering generally makes them a little drier and warmer than their unhammered counterparts, with perhaps a slightly "woody" tone.

I was intrigued by this drum because it has a 3mm shell, which is about twice as thick as a typical metal shell. I bought the drum used on eBay, for $232.50 US.

Tama also made (makes?) a hammered copper snare drum. I'm on the hunt for that one now.......

That looks really cool. I think the little hammer thing is awsome.

Badassssss....that is one chunky mutha, what are the dimensions?

I have the 12x4 model of the previous Hand Hammerred Tama line, but they were steel, not aluminium.

I have been looking for one of these for years!!! Specifically the PA355H, 14 x 5.5. If you still have and want to sell or know anyone else that does, please contact me!

Well this thread is 5 years old so there must be some of these out there somewhere
