I'm a drum set drummer through and through but have dabbled with a djembe occasionally. I just found out that my neighbor runs a large drum circle so I may go sometime to check it out. I've been wanting to buy the classic Remo Djembe Stand (the black "wire" one), but it seems to be discontinued. It's still on Amazon but overall most sites state that it's been discontinued.

Totally different style of stand as it goes INTO the opening on the bottom.
Any thoughts on whether this would work, or any experience with it yet?
