What kind of pedal is this?

Quick question for any and all of you who may know. Attached is a clip of Thomas Pridgen playing, and at around 2:40-2:50, he's playing on a pedal that's hitting the resonant side of his floor tom (hitting it vertically). Does anyone know what kind of pedal it is? It looks really interesting.

If it broke, its probably a DW.

Looks like his pedal might be some kind of "cobnobbled" custom. I use a Yamaha pedal, off a Club Jordan Coctail kit, with similar results. I ordered mine thru my local Guitar Center. Took about 2 weeks to arrive. Check out Glenn Kotche doing "Monkey Chant" for some more 'look ma, no bass drum' action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkmGSABX1Sg His solo kit here: http://glennkotche.com/technical.php Looks like he uses a Sonor pedal. I ordered the Yamaha cocktail drum pedal, because I knew it was deffinitely gonna work, rather than take a chance trying to "hit and miss" modifying another type of pedal.

"Hey bartender, can you tighten these up please?"

True dat. DW stuff looks jury-rigged. Remember their first double pedals, where the slave beater assembly clamped to the bass drum hoop?

I think its safe to say DW's whole foundation is built on 'cobnobbledre'.
