Mostly interested in the stands. Any info? Fair price (offer $45 probably) ? I might get the pedal too if you guys think I should. (I love vintage hardware. I'm looking to get a vintage Ludwig hi-hat stand to match my Speed Kings. Also saw this which is kinda cool (can't justify buying it though) - http://austin.craigslist.org/msg/1800217728.html . ) Why doesn't anybody else make cool hardware like this? I don't really like the chrome stands most make. I want the attention to be on the cymbals and drums, not the stands. What says you?

If I remember correctly, the gold on those stands didn't wear well, but if it's not a gigging kit, it wouldn't matter much I guess.

You'd have to see them in person to be sure there's not a huge amount of flaking.

If you could get them for a reasonable price (to you), then go for it if you like them.
$55 isn't an outrageous price for 2 stands in good condition though (IMO).

Finding more might be a trick, but you never know.

The Slingerland peal looks like junk to be honest. By that pic, it looks like the generic garbage pedals no name companies were using at the time.

The Ludwig pedal is just plain neat, and something cool to have.
A really old Slingerland would be cool too.

Thought the same for the pedals. I'll probably ask for some close up pics on the stands, and maybe I can figure out what that splash is so I can get ready to sell it if I decide to buy. It's in between being a need and a want. Actually, if I do buy, I might just try to buy one for $15. Thank you kind Sir Crafton!
