A blotch on a new Evans G2C head.

The head is brand new. I don't hear any problems, but I probably don't have enough experience to tell. It was bough online, should I try to replace it?
 
Looks like a moongel mark. Not gonna affect the sound, however you could get a rebate if you wanted, that's definetely their responsibility. Hell you may even be able to get a free gift card out of the deal :p
 
Yeah, it kinda does, but the head is brand new just out from the box. So I was like "what the hell it that". But as long as it's not going to delaminate on me or something, I'm fine with it.
 
There may have been a quality control sticker on itfor who know what. I wouldn't worry.
 
Most likely a spot were the two plies don't sit flat completely with each other. It happens with 2 ply heads sometimes.
If the sound is good to you, then you are fine. It's not going to affect the durability.
