Vic Firth Titan Series?????

Anybody on here see that Vic Firth is coming out with a new line of sticks called the Titan series??? They were supposedly featured at NAMM and are in Vic Firths' 2012 product catalog. From what I've read they are going to be made of a carbon composite material instead of wood and are going to be pretty exepnsive. One site suggested $100 at retail! I think it's going to be in line with Ahead drumsticks.

Does anyone know when these are going to be released???

I checked'em out at namm. From what I remember they seemed real heavy and I never liked the rebound on carbon sticks. They are supposed to be like those Carbosticks. Ahead sticks are Aluminum not Carbon.
