The one you just can't take out of your record/cd player?

Mine has to be Alkaline Trio's self titled 'EP mashup' album

I don't have just one, and for current music I have no answer. But a short list in no particular order is:

Pearl Jam - Ten
STP - Purple
Brahams - Hungarian Dances
NWA - Straight Outta Compton
Cannibal Corpse - Tomb of the Mutilated
Journey - Escape
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss
Squirrel Nut Zippers - Hot
Death - Human

The list goes on, and gets bigger all the time. I'll never be able to nail it down to just one.

Nothing new, but I'm enjoying When I Was Cruel (Elvis Costello and the Attractions) and Boy Child (Scott Walker's sixties 'Best Of...') right now. I've also had Forever Changes (Love) high up in the rotation for the best part of two decades.

The one I just took out of my CD player...Robert Plant - Band of Joy

The one I just put in...Duke Robillard - Wobble Walkin'.

Soilwork's Living Infinite was in my car for a long time recently. I bought it on impulse but it turned out to be a super awesome album. Everything in it clicks. However, it seems like the remastered version of Nothing by Meshuggah is taking over.

*Paul Simon- The Rhythm of the Saints

*Count Basie- Atomic

Human is a masterpiece.

I also don't pretend like I have a favorite or even a solid top 10, but I do love understanding Sol Niger Within as many people don't even come close.

Other goodies include:

In Absentia- Porcupine Tree
Kindred- Burial
Lifestylez of Da Poor and Dangerous-Big L
No Kings- Doomtree
Deliverance and Blackwater Park-Opeth

Been checking this out. I dig it, just need to listen to it more so I too can understand it!

My computer doesn't understand it, when I listen to it all other pages lock up!

Right now it's my Taste of Burger Records tape. It's a compilation album. Two tapes, 57 songs, just amazing. Some bands on here are Audacity, King Tuff, The Go, Sam Flax, Natural Child, Pangea, Cumstain, Lace Curtains, and more.

QOTSA - ...Like Clockwork

One of the tastiest albums I've heard in years.

Right now I'm also digging

Pretty Lights - A Color Map of the Sun
