One Hit Wonders

The ultimate one hit wonder...

Somebody's watching me by????? Damn I can't remember right now. Pretty sure he is from England though..hmmmmm Falco Maybe?? Not sure

That would be Barry Gordy's son Rockwell......with freako singing backup.

Rockwell did "Somebody's Watching Me". Ah, the days when you could buy a boom box with one speaker!

Here's mine: "Word Up" by Cameo. Also "West End Girls" by the Pet Shop Boys.

"Hocus-Pocus" by Focus & "Black-Betty" by Ram-Jam nowadays it seems like there is a lot more one-hit wonders then what there used to be like "own worst ememy" by Lit & "Sex & Candy" by Marci Playground and no I don't. know what any of these bands are doing today.

Focus have just done a reunion tour. They had other great hits as well, such as Syliva. Their drummer, Pierre, was fantastic.

Goin' back aways, but...

"Magnet and Steel" - Walter Egan (1978)

"Afternoon Delight" - Starland Vocal Band (1976)

Uhhh...What can I say? I was a teenager, then. ;-)

Smokin' in the Boy's Room - Brownsville Station
Funny story my dad's band opened for Brownville Station back in the '69' or '70' i'm not sure which year he was one of those hippie-types LOL and for another one hit wonder
