Hi guys,
I have taken lessons from mikeslessons.com up until recently but took a break when they redesigned their site. i put in the work and it paid off big time.
Before I join back and test their new platform, I looked around and found the Jazz drummers ressources and Hutchology. I took Hutchology's first lessons and it was informative but with all due respect a bit lacking in substance as he would play a fill, then slow it down but never thoroughly explain the concept slowly with notation. Great drummer and musician with tons to learn from, just wondering if all lessons are "here's the lick, now figure it out" or do subscribers get more substance.
Any of you guys members of this or other sites ?
I took lessons from drumeo but I did not enjoy them as much as mikeslessons, I thought the site was overwhelming and I could not find all the files and references the instructors related to in the lessons.
Not looking for skype or private lessons, just learning new grooves with a bit of help when I feel like it to broaden my horizons.
Thank you.
