Hi,
I put up some pics before (about a year ago) of my Sonor. I never got around to updating and showing you some of my Byzance gear.
So here's my gear in two different set ups. Not all my cymbals are in the pics...but you get the idea.
Byzance 16 medium crash,
20 medium crash,
21 medium ride
8 splash
10 splah
13 fast hats
14 fast hats (but I sometimes turn them over and play the dark side...you can see that in the pics)
All the above are brilliant finish.
I also have:
10 filter china
12 filter china
14 filter china
10 fx hat on the dw remote hihat (all generation X)
and a 14 mb10 soundwave hihat.
in a couple of weeks I'll be collecting an 18 Byzance Jazz series Thin Crash that Benny Greb used in a clinic back in October. It has his signature on it. And I'll also be getting a 14x14 floor tom and a double giant step pedal. I might add more pics when I get the new stuff.
I know some of the pics didn't come out that great. And when the kit was in the small room it was hard to get a good view of it. But anyway....feel free to comment on the gear and which setup you like better.
Also, on the small set up all the heads are Aquarian Texture Coated on the toms (top and bottom) with a Jack Dejohnette on the 14 snare. In the big set up it's G2s on toms (stock resos) and Power centre reverse dot on the 14 snare. The 13 S Class snare in grained maple finish has a Aquarian Texture Coated with power dot.
For some reason the finish on this kit never looks as good in the photos as it does up close. Anyway, if you have any questions....let me know.
