Where I work

So, I got a new lens for my camera for Christmas, and decided to test it out with a few shots of the drum store I work in.

It's awesome being surrounded everyday by so much great gear, I'm never short of new things to add to the kit at home!

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy these few photos.

man id love to work there would be ideal for me how much i love drum gear :)

I see Hydes stickers, mate. My favourite store!!

Where in Qld are you....I'm assuming Bris-vegas? Was there for a few days over xmas. Shame, I'd love to have wandered in and let you do me a killer deal on that Brady. :)

Correct, this is a Hydes store! On the Gold Coast actually, not as big as the Brissie stores but still a cool place to be. I know the Brisbane guys pretty well, they have some great gear up in their shop.

Double shame.....I spent two days down at Rainbow Bay (plenty of rain...no rainbows apparent though)....just a stones throw from you.

Still, hiding that Brady from the missus would have been a bridge too far....even for my cunning. :)

the first pic, reminds me of my own work, every day at 10:20 am, I drive by the DW factory in Oxnard. great pics

Damn. How do you get any work done? :)

The biggest shop near me is Hyde's Drumcraft in the city.

Overpriced IMO but every time I go there it feels like Adventures in Wonderland. Then I end up on the TD20 ... but I try not to be intrusive because, from the loud shredding that seems to go on in shops whenever I'm there I can imagine it would get a tad wearing ...

I envy you. This is where I work; not quite as exciting for the drummer part of me:
