Riffs That Make You Go "Oooh..."

Another one of my personal favorites:
"Microphone Fiend" performed by the one and only Tom Morello with Rage.

Gotta be AC/DC Thunderstruck - preferably live from Donnington!!!

Oteil Burbridge's line during the keys solo in "Stand Up People" on In a Perfect
World
by The Aquarium Rescue Unit.

Has anyone here heard this? Quite hip (^_^)...

Fool in the rain by Zep. (try playing it you'll see)

Oh dude, I know. I love Fear Factory. That song is awesome.
Ray Herrera is a great drummer.
And I loved Dino on guitar (don't know if he was for that song though).

3rd'ed. EVERY riff on that album is a blistering metalfest (besides Dog Day Sunrise). P*sschrist is the most epic industrial metal song ever written--it's like listening to the entire Terminator series in like 5 minutes...but it's actually cooler than that sounds. It's unbelievable.

Motley Crue ~ Wild Side, Dr.Feelgood

Van Halen ~ And The Cradle Will Rock

I like the rhythmic riff off "I am a pig" by Rob Halford
but the guitar riffs at the beginning of
The Hellion/Electric eye by Judas Priest are amongst my favourites.

Edit:- Actually I like anything by Judas Priest
Glenn Tipton and KK Downing are the riff masters!

Finally a Judas Priest fan that i can have a conversation with =D Demonizer is a monstrous riff. I know it was their later stuff but man its good Persecution is awesome too off Nostradamus.

Nope, there are several Judas Priest fans, here in DW. I am one of them few!

Mostly (Rob Halford) era, including: Fight and Halford.
Rocka Rolla
Sad Wings Of Destiny
Sin After Sin
Stained Class
Hell Bent For Leather
Unleashed In The East
British Steel
Point Of Entry
Screaming for Vengeance
Defenders Of The Faith
Turbo
Priest.....Live!
Ram It Down
Painkiller
Metal Works (compilation of most known songs)
Angel Of Retribution
Nostradamus

The first few Priest albums could be the best. From Rocka Rolla to Hell Bent for Leather. They have more of a classic rock sound than the cheesy 80's metal sound the developed later.

British Steel - Screaming For Vengeance - Defenders Of The Faith, are excellent power metal albums.

Painkiller is a cheesy 80's metal sound?!?

Yes, yes it is.

Angel of Death by Slayer honestly has one of the best I've heard. I bought 'Reign In Blood' the other day after not owning it for years and it brought back a lot of memories of Duncan being a crazed metal head.

It was one of the reasons, Rob Halford decided to split and leave Judas Priest. To seek for new and fresh musical projects, as Two - Fight - Halford - then back to Judas Priest.
