well sort of . still have to order wooden bass drum hoops , but other than that ....
i did end up using leopardwood veneer and it was a great choice , though i did buy alittle too much ! remember that this was put together for a 12 y.o. girl , hence the wild color combo ! if it were for me i would have left it all the natural wood , but it did give me a chance to experiment with painting a fade ! the green was mixed by my brother and he tells me that it was a 1970 dodge color ( sublime green ) and he also darkend a second batch for the contrasting color on the fade .
we also got a custom made drum head from http://www.drumstatic.com/ . they were awesome considering how many times we ended up changing the design before jennifer was finally happy about it , and after seeing it on the kit she knew what she was doing .
