Hey all,
I just got some ddrum snare triggers with two transducers - one for the rim and one for the drum head.
Anyway, I'm using a Yamaha DTXpress IV module and connecting the trigger via an XLR to 1/4" stereo cable. However, I get no read for the rim.
I'm not sure what cable I need to use because drum pads hooked up to the same input can send rim clicks and pad hits to the module with no problem.
Ddrum recommends a Y cable, but I don't have an extra input to spare for the snare click. There must be some cable that will send the correct info to the module, given that the cable connecting the pad to the module does so.
Thanks for your help
