Removing Drumheads Consistently

I own a Pearl Rhythm Traveler set and was wondering if it is detrimental the health of the drumhead to keep taking it off and putting it on when practicing with the mesh head and then going back to the real head?

Only if you are using those old Evans heads with the ceramic hoop -lol! I will never forget having to deal with one of these back in the day. It had conformed to the shell so much that I thought I was going to have to pry it off with a crowbar! Talk about sweating bullets and having a huge sense of relief when it finally came off!

It's a good idea to put a few marks on the heads with a sharpie so you can always put them on exactly the same. This time they won't have to re-settle each time you swap heads.
