Show Me Your "Monster" Kits! (let's say... 7 piece and up)

Isn't this the Show Me Your Monster Kits thread, intended to be a visual celebration of large kits? I don't know about the rest of you, but when I see that this thread has been updated, I click on it excitedly expecting to see juicy shots of very large drum kits. And when I do that and all I see is text or someone's 3-piece bop kit, a tiny part of me dies inside.

And just so I'm not a total hypocrite...

Sorry if it kills your soul ...

It was just a side disscussion on using big kits live, rock on with the big ones, I believe I did say use what fits the situation. I for one am NOT part of the big vs small kit debate, those that want to participate in that can have at it.

Drums for me are fasinating at all levels ... it's why I took it up in the first place at 55 years old, and why I read every post in the thread. As noted I'm primarily a bass player, and out of my great respect for the drummers I've worked with over the years decided I wanted to try it myself. All musicians that play at a pro level use what it takes to do the job that goes for bass, guitar, drums all instruments, and yes showing up on time and doing what needs to be done when it needs to be done is what being a working musician is all about.

I am expecting a phone call later today, that will put me in a road touring band, taking us from Calif to Maine and doing that I'll play through some "monster" bass rigs at festivals and such, and get to play next to some monster drum kits ... it's all good boys and girls

Peace, Love and Happiness

It has been far too long without Brundlefly drum pr0n. How's that new drum space working out?

Heres the monster.........Pearl Export 29 drums, 28 cymbals, all the heads are ebony now and the snares have black Aquariums, also added two more cowbells and one mounted to another bass pedal. There are 4 deccabaums and 5 timbales.
The set has been down sized now and I have replaced the couple of crappy cymbals with AAXs and ozones. It s a lot of fun to play on.

Shes a 14x10 Ludwig on the shortest stand I have. Its a classic from the 80s. I have 5 snares and this by far is the best snare I have ever played for rock.
