I love his drumming. But his cymbals are WAY too high.

aquiles is a really nice guy. down to earth as they come. see my drummerlive report for 2006 for some cool pics of his wicked kit.

he taught eloy casagrande to drum.

his drumming is just colossal. i am enjoying every second of it especially in Rebirth album.

He's the reason I got into Angra, Hangar and Freakeys. If I ever meet him in person, I'll sure thank him for bringing back the excitement into drumming that at one point became boring. Plus all that: He's using Paiste

These ones are amazing too. I got into his drumming when I read he was trying out for DT and googled him. His website has some really good pics of his kit ( http://www.aquilespriester.com/presskit/foto2_2009_photobyAntonioRossa.jpg ) and a full list of what's in it. Interesting that his primary hats are 15" Sound Edges on the x-hat.

That PsychOctupus solo is incredible, horrible sounding MIDI keys as backing tracks but man he is incredible!!!

Are they Charlie Benante signature Paiste black cymbals, looks like the Anthrax logo on them?

Whoa! I'm surpised there isn't anymore on Aquiles on here but I just got his DVD and the modern drummer 2011 DVD and I was just blown away! The dude is amazing and some of his cymbal work is soooooo cool and intricate! I love his double bass work as well, just a great drummer.

I love him, just started to watch more of his stuff. Calm and collected when playing and a technical powerhouse.
