Have you ever had anything thrown at you or other band members while performing.
What was it.
And did it make contact.

I got panties thrown at me, too....and indeed, the world is an unjust place.Looking back, I feel ripped off..........Tom Jones and Elvis got panties......the world is an unjust place.

Oh did I say that out loud?
Well, the 80's in L.A., was, a hedonistic of times. And it helps if you're not involved in a committed relationship. Also, post-curricular band performance activities do, or did, sometimes involve certain good will/promotion ventures. Then, it always helped that the "young ladies" were good looking and wearing short skirts/dresses. Sometimes, for the good of the band, ya just gotta "step up to the plate and swing".I never understood the throwing panties thing.

No, in this case, it was just "the L.A. scene". If you ever get to see the Penelope Spheeris movie "The Decline of Western Civilization Part II - the Heavy Metal Years" ... we weren't Rock Stars .... we just partied like rock stars. Youth Gone Wild.....instrumental or vocal prowess ..... the transient reflected glory of celebrity.

It is a dream, however, to play a song with one hand while drinking a beer with the other. I'll do that at a non-worship gig one day.
