bought a new HH stand today

Got a Pearl Eliminator HH stand witha drop clutch, like new for $100. Think its a good deal (less tahn half retail) and wow is it incredible. Love the flexibilty and light feel of the action. Cant believe the improvement over the old POS that I had.

No real point except to share my excitement....

thats a good deal, is it two or three leg? did you get the pearl drop clutch?

Two legger and the clutch is really heavy thing witha lever that sticks up at 80 degrees to horizontal (almost straight up) so you whack it sideways to drop it. Most of the untis Ihave seen are hit stright down so it will take a little time to sort out but very heavy and nicely made. Rubber gaskets instead of felts on it too.

Adjustable in every way. Going to see if I can get it to lean toward my snare a little. Always liked that looka nd would liket o try if possible. Dont know what I cando with it yet (down I go)..

yes-zactly. I like it so far.

The stand will lean a little towards me which is something I have really grown to like. Just seems easier and more efficient.

I chose the dw 9000 2 legger but the pearl did have a really nice pedal feel, really smooth.
