What's in Your Bag?

Wasn't going to do this innitally, but here goes.

Depends on which bag. I have three. 1 for practice set(s), one for orchestral work and one for gig set.

Gig bag:

2 pr Regal 5B Maple (dont like the hickory)

2 pr Mainline 7A (got a deal on them and they sound good on ride)

1pr Vic Firth Conquistador timbali sticks (for latin)

1 pr store brand 5B store brand hickory w/ Nylon tips (for what little rock I do)

1 pr Regal Jeff Hamilton brushes 596R (like the weight)

1 pr some old stick w/felt buts for cym rolls

a couple of soft lead pincles to make notes on music

I usually hang the bag on my FT for easy access during a gig, but I have a wire stick holder on the BD and I usually have my brushes with my extra music (won't fit in the stick holder)

set of rock Aheads and a set of 3 quid woden drum sticks with nylon tips. i use the Aheads but have the wooden ones incase i drop a stick at a gig. simples

What's in your orchestral bag??
Lots of mallets I guess?

Bram

No, primarily tympani sticks and a couple pair if concert snare drum sticks (1 pr W.H Reamer). I suck at mallets, so they wont let me near them. Besides, we have some pretty good mallet players.

10. vast array of tension rods for all of my drums

Here is one of my stick bags. (I have several for different situations) This seemed an interesting choice. I have samba instruments including mallets and even a pair of rainbow barquetta sticks, timbale sticks, a bodhran beater and various other sticks.

Its my Cindy Blackman bag. I have many others bags full of various sticks blah blah blah.

skullcandy "inked" headpones (cheap for the quality, 20 bucks, and help block sound)
and one of those pine tree shaped car fresheners in the "vanillaroma" flavor. i also keep one hanging from my kit at all times (cause several hours of practice will make a room smell "manly")
