Re: Favorite Movie Quote?
I ha to revisit this thread as a very poingnant one came to mind yesterday at work. It's from "Forrest Gump", although not spoken in dialog between characters but during his narration.
Forrest and Jenny have reunited after they've grow and are walking down an old country road where they grew up. They come across the house that Jenny grew up in with her monster of a father, the place where he heaped a lifeteme of abuse on his daughter. In tears she begins throwing rocks at the house, reaches hysteria and when no more stones are near she throws her shoes and falls to the ground in tears, Forrest looks down at the woman he loves with sadness. In narration he says
"Sometimes, I guess there just aren't enough rocks."
