Well, con...that's actually not the point. The question was/is will they BOTH arrive at the destination sooner, later, or at the same time..."as a pair", NOT as individuals.
In other words, will having the ONE bike between BOTH of them, help them, hurt them, or have no difference, in getting them to the end of the journey any faster in the time that it takes?
