My sister lives in London and is always bugging me to make the move. My advice would be:
Watch the Bodegas for expiration dates. Some of those London small quick mart type stores are a little suspect. You could end up 24 or 48 on your knees from food poisoning.
Watch the traffic, esp is you're a jaywalker like most. Even though you've been there before, it is still easy to make a mistake step off the curb and get whacked. :)
Don't take public transit to Heathrow. They don't care if you make it on time. Take a cab to and fro and save the hassle.
London is expensive and the job market is not good. If such were not the case, I would have made the move years ago. It should be a great move.
