Default Re: What are you favorite 'feel good' pop songs?

not sure if they qualify as pop songs but here goes-

hush- deep purple, the way jon lord comes in with his hammond organ for his lead is awesome!
california dreamin'- mamas & the papas, the vocals always get me
50 ways to leave your lover- paul simon, typically sweet Gadd groove
conga- miami sound machine- infectious groove
it's too late- carole king, a beautiful song with a great vocal
september- earth, wind & fire, just a feel good song
dream come true- brand new heavies, sweet piece of funk
pick up the pieces- average white band, love robbie macintosh's groove
suavecito- malo, still brings back memories
sweetheart- franke & the knockouts, great song with killer vocals
lowdown- boz scaggs, nice funky pop with great players
through the fire- chaka khan, killer vocal by chaka
sara smile- hall & oates, just lovely
i want you back- jackson 5, love the bass line
turn the beat around- vickie sue robinson, nobody has done this song better
wishing well- terence trent darby, deliciously funky
vehicle- ides of march, just a great song
good lovin'- the rascals, who doesn't like this?
bed's too big- the police, for me it's one of their best
