there are many, it was the golden age of rock!

Rare Bird - Prog keyboard band signed to Charisma in 1969 were amazing, had a hit single "Sympathy" but never reached the dizzy heights of Genesis on the same label.

Stray - hard rock band very well known on the pub gig circuit in the early 70's, their early albums were great but never hit the big time. Del Bromham touring with new version of the band.

Tony McPhee / Groundhogs - most underrated blues/hard rock band of the 70's, made the excellent "Split" album in 1971, Tony still touring the band.
