Musicians as a whole are flakes or eccentrics. Mostly flakes. If I had a nickel for every flake/screwball musician I've played with or dealt with... well, I'd have Gates money. I don't know if it's part of the creativity or what. There are exceptions of course, and I have been paid a nickel for each one of them and needless to say I am nowhere near rich.
Don't take any of it seriously or personal. It's just the nature of the beast.
