Default Re: MAD's cartoons & CD covers...

I'm looking for an old cartoon I saw once in an old Playboy magazine circa 1970's, (I only got them for the articles).

It shows a cartoonish timpanist, chubby, his tux coat is too tight, one button is held on by a single thread, a single hair curling up from his almost bald head. The prospective is from over his shoulder.

In the distance you can see a few musician and the long haired maestro, waving his baton.

The timpanist holds his over-sized sticks, the covers being held on by a single string and he stands next to two cartoonsh, t-handle timpani, which sit atop tripods of sticks tied together with a rope.

He looks nervously at his music on a wire music which simply reads:

bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,
bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,
bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,
bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,
bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,
bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,
bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,
bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang...

I would love to have a copy of it if anyone has one.
