WOW....that was amazing.Both of us are big time Simon Phillips fans Andy..

The first time I heard him with the Who,was on a simulcast on WNEW FM in NY,in 1989 during the "Tommy" 20th anniversary reunion tour.They were at the Radio City Music Hall in NY City.

I thought Simons playing was just super and his interpretation of Moonies drumming parts,paid homage to the originals,without playing it note for note.

That man also knows how to tune drums,so they cut and project and still sound musical.
