Default Need Advice For Recording YouTube Covers

Yes, I'm new to recording, so please bear with me.

I'm looking to start recording drum covers, so I obviously will need some recording equipment. There's a guy on Craigslist that has a 7 piece Digital Reference mic pack (5 drum mics and two overheads.); six XLR cables; and a Presonus Firestudio Project interface all for $350. Do you think it's worth it? Anyone ever had first hand experience with any of these products? I'm also wondering what else I'd need to finish my recording setup? (besides the camera, laptop, and recording software.) Which by the way, any recommendations for recording software?

Input is greatly appreciated!
