You, as usual, are exactly correct. I rarely catch colds but boyfriend was sick last week and with being rundown from lack of sleep it caught me with my defenses down. At lessons this week I was feeling lousy so my teacher prescribed exactly the same thing...lots of doubles exercises on the practice pad :). Must be the universal dosage for under the weather drummers...lol.
On the bright side, I spent an hour and a half on the pad and kit yesterday for the first time in two weeks. Probably overdid it a little but it sure felt good.
