I've never seen snow and since I'm not keen old cold weather I've not tried hard to see it. One late springtime I was at the snowfields (long after the season had ended) and I saw some white stuff on the mountaintops. When we got up there all we found were big slabs of ice. That's as close as I've gotten.
The winters in Michigan are a bit longer than I'd like but I would not want to live somewhere it never snows. Every winter, we get treated to visuals like this everywhere we look.
It gets even more impressive the farther you go up north. I've never seen anything quite like this in person, but our Upper Peninsula is known to produce storms like this.
