I think I picked up on all your nuances. I love the relationship of sounds to the history story. The use of didgeridoo has obvious Australian connections, but aside from that, I loved the affect on the piece when it came in. The timbre of that instrument is fantastic, especially in the context of this piece. It's not difficult to see why the indigenous peoples found it enticing & haunting.
On a side note, I'm not sure if others have picked up on the blatant (& very amusing) use of gender marketing in your post title :)
