Yeah just like trevjonez said the dw performance series is a great kit and for a DW of that quality for only around 2100 bucks...and they just came it with some new finishes at NAMM this year as well...

Yeah if I was to guess I would say this drumset is a pretty decent set (the snare looks realy nice) but idk if it is worth $2500. if you are getting a "insane" deal on it than yeah I would go for it...

I would recommend the Pork Pie Big Black Brass snare drum. It is sizeable to a Ludwig Black Beauty and trust me that snare sings. Ive had one for about 2 years now and I love it.
