Re: What's your latest purchase?

Rick, after you've had some time to take that for a spin and if you have the time I'd love it if you could create a review thread for it. I had good friend that owned an Axis HH stand and I have a...

Re: Drum Tuning Like This

Looks like an Ebony head with the shadows of the trees moving over them. I can also see what looks like a couple of round muffling gels on the head.

That looks like a nice cozy yard too...

Re: Completely out of touch old fart irrelevant opinion - but,

Really? I love the music at my gym, no joke. It is the same crap they you mentioned, usually remixed hits with a boring dance beat over them. I like to warm up with 15 or 20 min on the elliptical...

Re: Atlas oversight...

The new Atlas mounts that replace a lug are only designed to take a 12.7mm rod. My Gibraltar BD mounted cymbal (9.5mm) stand requires this very ill fitting sleeve to fit. The mounting bracket that...

Re: Completely out of touch old fart irrelevant opinion - but,

Re: "Spice up your life" :)

Sweet! I'll give it a listen later.

Andy, your constant self deprecation about your completely delusional lack of skill is starting to bum me out. Even for an Englishman it is a bit excessive....

Re: Going on Tour would like some advice!

Jim can't help it, he's a drummer and a dad.

Only advice that I would throw out there is make sure you get your fiber. Take some fruit or something and don't eat too much fast food. Your guts will...

Re: Rant: Who's in charge at Gibraltar??

I remember seeing an older thread where the designer of the Catapult pedal shared his thoughts and put up with a good bit criticism too. Much respect for him defending his creation but that still is...

Re: Completely out of touch old fart irrelevant opinion - but,

Andy, I'd expect one of these threads out of Bo but not you.

People go to these things to dance and interact socially also, not just to watch a guy play music from his laptop. Part of being a...

Re: Unpopular Drumming Opinion Thread

My father in-law gave me a rack to sell on CL for him, I offered as it was just sitting in his car and he wanted it gone. It was a big ol' PDP monstrosity like this:

Re: Fyberskin or Skyntone or ?? for Pearl Tom-Bourine?

I just discovered recently that DFD sells real calfskin heads. You're going to have to tuck it yourself but that is about as "Old school" as you can go without getting a rock and hollowing out a log....
