i just am nit picky about the tom sound...i only use one tom and i want it to be big and boomy..

but, i do think my live tom sound with it unmiced is too boomy for close micing....

by excessive bass drum movement i mean that the drum is moving so that it hinders my playing. i play double pedal. everytime i hit my bass drum, it like wobbles and then settles just a smidge away...

thanks.....i was thinkin about getting those feet anyway. or i could get that suspension mount for floor toms that has the leg mounts separated from the drum. it is just like a mounted tom rims mount...
