Yeah I saw a video on youtube of someone doing a similar job. They used wood puddy for the seam. The hardware came out great. I took your advice and used Steel Wool. Worked well.

Ok thanks! I never thought about the vaneer, I'll probably do that if the wood looks bad on the inside. Its a Tama Granstar II by the way.

Yeah everything is spray painted with the exception of 1 kick drum. Its just solid pink. I need to do something because I've never been able to get the 2 kick drums to sound the same. I thought it...
