Re: RIP gerhardt fuchs

a great talent indeed.

I saw them on October with Mono.
Some of the finest drumming i've seen live.

It's so sad to know a talent like Jerry would leave us so early.
Maye he RIP.

Re: The Black Panther thread! For all BP snare fans and owners....

I have a 13" x 3.5" piccolo that's a Birdseye maple with diecast hoops.

Re: does anyone play a 10" aux snare?

I use a 12" x 7" Black Panther Cherrywood as a regular.
Other than using a Supraphonic I think the biggest diameter I'd go would be 13".

Re: Mapex steel shell Black Panther, professional snare?

I agree.

I own 2 Black Panther snares.

The 12" x 7" Cherrywood or the Cherrywood/Maple snare is a real hidden gem.

Re: which snare to get

if you have to get, i'd suggest the pork pie.

I tried the 12 x 5 version at the store and it sounds amazing cranked up.

Personally I'd go the 13" x 7" specs. You'll be surprise how versatile it...

what to do is to hit 8 even strokes with the right but for the left do 16.
that helped me greatly...

Re: why play 13" vs. 14" snares?
