"Skins"= drum heads
"Hoops"= rims
"Shlep"=hauling gear
"Chops"= your playing ability or skill

So I use a clear Powerstroke batter and a coated Powerstroke reso with a kick port. I tune the reso a 3rd lower than the batter the only muffle i use is a stuffed tube sock stuck between the bottom...

Tell me about it. I play in a AC/DC tribute band and they want it note for note. Rudd throws in some real off the wall accents. and the thing is he plays it almost note for note live he doesn't stray...

my pearls have memory lock clamps so i take them off anyway, just put em in the hardware case. the nice thing is that the floor tom set up is the same every time

I play a LM402 chrome over aluminum. in my opinion the seamless shell, the way the snare beds are made, and the way they chrome the aluminum are the main contributing factors to its sound. it just...
