Half of my kit came today. The kick, small tom and floor tom came. Im still waiting for my snare, mid tom, mounting system and floor tom legs. Do drum sets usually ship in 2 boxes?

Differences between playing snare on a kit vs a marching snare drummer?

As a drum kit player should you learn the same stuff on the snare as a marching snare drummer? What do you think some of the key things are to learn to play kit snare?

Tuning your drums different if you are going to mic them?

Fool in the rain has always been a toughy for me. I find the main beat really difficult, also the single foot triplets in the beginning of 'Good times, Bad times' is a killer.
