I own the SE Birch Walnut Saturns and they do have the spring loaded legs to go along with the isolation mounts on the floor toms. The old isolation system was more of a DW like system, not a rims...

The bad thing about the Tama bass drum head is it looks like somebody cut a giant hole in it with a chainsaw. Not sure how you could salvage that.

Give a listen to this, it shows three different tunings. Lower for the slower songs and medium tuning to more up tempo songs. I am in love with this snare and...
