I am really into this guy at the moment, for those of you who don't know he's the drummer from so called roots/jam band John Butler Trio. He's really groovy, tasteful, and creates wonderful sounds...

drums are for listening to, not being admired mechanically. if you use a gauge, make sure you fine tune it by ear

This guy was my favourite drummer (and is now second, being usurped by the gaddmeister).
The man knows how to PLAY! his playing is so groovy and funky, and he's even better...
