I completley agree, I like "By The Way" but it definetley was lacking something. This album is almost like a tribute to everything they have recorded. The funky songs are awesome and the mellow...

I know this isn't about Chad Smith. But Have you guys ever listened to whole chili pepperes album? He can and does match Travis' speed. I actually think that Travis' drumming on the self titled album...

How can yousay Tre Cool's lost his speed? He has matured as a drummer so maybe he's not as flashy as he was but there no way he's slowed down.

I don't really think he is over rated. He is great at what he does. I really don't think there would be any better drummer for green day. Can you imagine Neil Peart in green day?!?!?!? but seriously...

There will never be antoher keith moon. He is probably the most unique drummer of the sixties. He was just a mad man and his personality really comes through his playing. I think it's pretty rad...

Even though he states his double bass playing is a week point of his playing he still is very creative and good at it. I'm not a huge fan of doulbe bass but he is one of the few I really enjoy...
