I havnt really had any weird mistakes of my own but i was at a silverchair concert recently and their drummer tried to do the trick that ive seen Mike Portnoy and Taylor...

The Story with the 07 Modern drummer Festival was that they had problems getting a venue so decided to put if off. This year will be at a different venue than the previous years.

wow thats a little steep, where I buy my sticks signature lines are only 1 or 2 bucks more.

When buying drum gear never pay full price for anything, most places will do you a deal if you ask.

Thats right, I think the best advice you can be given is to get a teacher and preferably one that puts emphasis on good technique and can teach you all styles.
