Yea i agree with this i am a serious jazz guy and i dont think most people have any idea about Zorn...it is indie. i definately disagree with what finn is saying about Zorn

i do this with other things like when i get to the end of a song that i have been laying after it is done i will just march right into some other groove and forget about the next thing i was going to...

Anyone in here ever listen to Nyugen Lee, the japanese guitarist, that is some great jazz. check out his album 'bakida' if your interested. peter erskine is drumming.

yea i really dont like the style that much either. Joey has talent and he is quick but i think he would get old pretty quick as a stand alone drummer. he definately fits into that style of music...

I think that Jim Chapin's video is great to watch because he studied with moeller and he is obsessed with spreading it. His video does get a little repetitive but the concepts in it are great for...

I dont have those type of headphones, but i do have over ear headphones and i did notice when i wore those they did take out a lot of sound and cut out a lot of that over tone and other 'sloppy'...

the best ear protection is the custom made by your doctor, i think ear protection is essential, once its gone its not coming back so why risk it. i myself do not have the custom fits, but i do have...

Yes, i think it depends what style or what your comfortable with, like rock i would never play traditional, but jazz i would play mainly traditional unless i wanted a certain dynamic that is easier...

I would say as long as your playing on your acoustic kit it will always be at a loud enough level that you will need earplugs. You can go to your doctor and have an earmold made for your ear for...
