There is at least one huge benefit from having your fulcrum around the middle finger and not the index. And that is because when the index-finger is free and can be extended it is more in "harmony"...

When do something that cross the border, like a fast fill from nowhere, my tongue goes out and my eyes closes...Never seen it myself, but I think that must look pretty weird!
